Matthew Liberatore – Tampa Bay Rays

Left-Handed Pitcher from Mountain Ridge with the 16th pick in the first round of the MLB draft!

Liberatore struck out 104 batters in 60 innings while posting a 0.93 ERA for Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, Ariz. as a senior, and was named the 2017-18 Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year.



Nolan Gorman – St. Louis Cardinals

3rd Baseman from Sandra Day O’Connor with the 19th pick in the first round of the MLB draft!

Gorman hit .419 with a .583 on-base percentage and 118 RBIs in 114 games in high school. He’s known for his power. He took the titles at the MLB All-Star Game high school home run derby in Miami and at the Under Armour All-American Game at Wrigley Field.
